A Good Morning |
||
| 1 | She comes spritely | |
| 2 | On her feet | |
| 3 | Running up the hill | |
| 4 | Of the Poets's Seat | |
| 5 | Back at me | |
| 6 | "Come along, come on, | |
| 7 | "Yesterday is done | |
| 8 |
"It's a good morning." |
|
| 9 | She comes lightly | |
| 10 | In the air | |
| 11 | Yellow daffodil | |
| 12 | In her flaxen hair | |
| 13 | And now turning slightly | |
| 14 | On the stair | |
| 15 | "Come along, sir, come, | |
| 16 | "Yesterday is done | |
| 17 |
"It's a good morning." |
|
| 18 | The whole world below | |
| 19 | Before her eyes | |
| 20 | She's painting rainbows | |
| 21 | On the face of stormy skies | |
| 22 |
My stormy skies |
|
| 23 | Holding tightly | |
| 24 | To my hand | |
| 25 | Takes me as she will | |
| 26 | Takes me as I am | |
| 27 | Now she laughs mightily | |
| 28 | Once again | |
| 29 | "Come along, sir, come, | |
| 30 | "Yesterday is done | |
| 31 |
"It's a good morning." |
