  2 Is far too long* in coming
  3 Or so they say
  4 But anyway
  5 I'm not counting
  6 In her back yard
  7 She's got that engine humming
  8 To my guitar
  9 How she loves that car
  10 Three-fifty horses running
  11 And, sure, I'm hanging 'round
  12 For more than the view
  13 And when she takes me down
  14 On ocean Avenue
  15 Rosie's a friend of mine
  16 She loves her Mustang and summertime
  17 Yellow daisies and dandelions
  18 Lying in the Sandy Hook sunshine
  19 She's like poetry that doesn't rhyme
  20 Smokey kisses and valentines
  21 Limoncello and Italian wine
  22 Rosie's a friend of mine
 
  23 I can't see
  23 What she thinks she's doin'
  25 Messing 'round with me
  26 Quite possibly
  27 She's got something - brewin'
  28 But for my time
  29 The mystery worth pursuin'
  30 How she looks so fine
  31 She steals me blind
  32 The girl may be my ruin
  33 So what I'm hanging 'round
  34 Like fools in love do
  35 And when she takes me down
  36 On ocean Avenue
